DESCRIPTION
Description
'Linda Sierra' - Sev., Fr., EM., Re., 27 in., sc.; 5.25 in., fl. 3 way branching with 24 buds. This cream lavender flower has a striking sky blue eye surrounded by purple wire band with a picotee edge of the same colors. The double picotee edge is further accented by a wire gold edge carrying tiny serrated teeth. Francois Verhaert of Belgium stated, while visiting the gardens in Florida this past season “That is the prettiest flower that I have seen in all the gardens that I have visited this year”. He promptly reserved 3 fans for himself. This is truly the bluest daylily that I have ever seen, I wish I had 500 of them. A strong grower, very rust resistant and never sulks. Blooming Early midseason for 6-7 weeks. (Shadows of the Pyramids x Clothed in Glory) X (Rhapsody in Time x Blue Eye).
